The SUPER48 Plus Heavy Duty Retractable Keychain includes everything you’ve come to love about the SUPER48 series Key Chains including a nearly indestructible polycarbonate case and a retractable cord made with DuPont™ Kevlar® fiber - PLUS even more innovation. The SUPER48 Plus features a newly designed ambidextrous ball-joint lock so the reel can be used on either hip, a larger belt clip specifically designed to accommodate 2-1/4” Duty Belts and an integrated belt clip lock that easily converts the clip to a belt loop - no pin required.

The patented ball-joint lock on the SUPER48 Retractable Heavy Duty Key Holder keeps your keys securely at your side while not in use. The SUPER48 Plus will retract 8 oz., but the ball-joint will allow you to exceed the retraction force and lock your keys when you're not using them so they don't sag. And the with the new ambidextrous design of the ball-joint on the SUPER48 Plus, the reel can be easily locked from your right or left hip.

This Keychain is perfect. It is durable and of high quality. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase.
I like it
Very well made, but with one serious flaw: EXTREMELY difficult to fasten key chain housing to belt or pants BECAUSE the plastic clip sits against an elevated stopper and the hard plastic stopper becomes a serious impediment to clipping it on. I had to file down the stopper housing. Ridiculous.
I’ve had two. Both broke within a year. Same spot.

STEEL BELT CLIP OR BELT LOOP
The Original Series retractable key holder has two stainless steel attachment options. The stainless steel belt clip is 2" long and easily clips onto most belts. The stainless steel belt loop option allows belts 1.75" wide and up to 3/16" thick to fit through the loop to secure the reel to your hip.
REMOVABLE ROTATING BELT CLIP
The removable rotating belt clip on the Original Series retractable key chain is a two piece clip that allows you to remove the retractable key reel without taking the clip off your side. Simply give the reel a quarter turn in either direction and lift up, the reel will lift off while leaving the clip securely at your side.
DUTY BELT LEATHER LOOP
The leather loop attachment option on the Original series retractable key reel is specifically designed to accommodate 2 1/4" Duty Belts commonly used in Law Enforcement and Security. The leather loop option is only available with a vinyl black front.
