In 1981, KEY-BAK invented the first Retractable Badge Holder, the MINI-BAK®, and it is still one of the best badge reels on the market today. Built in the USA with globally sourced materials, the Mini-Bak badge reel has a strong molded black polycarbonate case and a retractable cord made three-strand braid nylon. Attach your i.d. badge or access cards to the vinyl badge holder and secure the retractable badge holder to your belt, work vest or scrubs. When you need your badge just pull it out, when your done let it go and the built-in tether retracts back into place until you need them again. STEEL BELT CLIP
The belt clip on the MINI-BAK Retractable Badge Reel is a convenient attachment option for securing the badge reel at your hip on a belt or on your scrubs. It is made of a durable stainless steel that measures 1.25" long and is heat treated for added durability and resistance from bending out of shape.
SWIVEL BULLDOG CLIP
The swivel bulldog clip on the MINI-BAK Retractable Badge Holder is a spring loaded clip that opens with a pinch and can rotate 360 degrees. This clip is a popular option because it allows you to secure your badge in visible locations such as shirt pockets, on a shirts v-neck or the pocket of your pants.
BRAIDED NYLON CORD
The retractable cord on the MINI-BAK Retractable Badge Holder is made out of military grade type-II braided nylon fiber cord and has been tested to last more than 1-million pulls.

How DO YOU ATTACH BADGES TO THE MINI-BAK BADGE REEL ?
The MINI-BAK Badge Reel has a Vinyl I.D. Badge Strap. The vinyl i.d. badge fits through an opening commonly found at the top of most i.d. badges snaps closed to secure the badge to the reel. If your i.d. badge does not have an opening to put the vinyl i.d. badge strap through you'll need to use an i.d. badge sleeve to secure your badge to the MINI-BAK Badge Reel.

The MINI-BAK Retractable Badge Holder is designed and made in the USA with globally sourced materials at our factory in Ontario, CA.
What is the total length of the MINI-BAK BADGE REEL?

SHIPPING POLICY
All orders ship out from our Ontario, CA facility within 3 business days from the time the order is placed, depending on the size of the order. Once your shipment has been created you will receive shipment tracking information to the email address used to place the order. Shipments go out Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Purchases under $50 shipping via USPS and UPS will be dependent upon chosen method, order, and location.
- Purchases $50 or more - Free Economy Shipping Available. Cost for UPS is calculated based on order and shipping location.
Economy Shipping - The carrier and transit time is at West Coast Corporation's discretion on all economy shipped orders.
30 DAY RETURN POLICY
We do not make changes to orders after they are placed. If you are not happy with your order for any reason, we will accept returns and provide a refund for up to 30 days from the date your order is delivered. Returns must be in their original condition and not been used or if they have been used, a manufacturers defect.
We do not refund the original shipping cost or provide return shipping due to buyer's remorse or incorrect products ordered. Shipping cost for any issue not being a result of a fulfillment error will be the responsibility of the customer.
To start a return, navigate to our “contact us” page ( https://www.keybak.com/pages/contact-us ) and select the option for Returns. In order to quickly process your return, please make sure to complete all fields. Once our team evaluates your claim, they will respond and provide you with an RMA#. Please allow 24 hours for a response.
Once you receive your RMA number which will expire in 30 days, package your product for shipping and inside include a copy of your receipt. On the outside of the package please label with the RMA number provided. Ship your return to KEY-BAK Attn: Returns 4245 Pacific Privado Ontario, CA 91761, USA.
A credit will be issued to your original form of payment within 3-5 business days after receipt of your return.
Your product is a precision device and if your purchase fails at any time within one year from date of purchase, with a proof of purchase and a photo of the product, we will replace your product with an equal model. If at any time after the 12-month warranty period ends and your product fails to perform, we offer a Lifetime Service Policy.

- Proof of Purchase
- Reason for the warranty claim
- Picture of product showing manufacturer’s defect
Once our team evaluates your claim, they will respond with how we will proceed. Please allow 24 hours to receive a response.

No issues. Every time I try to order a different, cheaper option, they break and badges get lost. This is a bit pricier, but we're confident in the quality of the product.

I was sent the swivel badge holder rather than the belt mounted. No big deal, I contacted the team and sent an email. Then another one. Then another one. I never heard anything back.

Would love to give a better review but I somehow ended up with the adjustable clip instead of the belt clip like I ordered

I bought this for durability as my last reel broke unexpectedly. This came pretty fast in the mail and it's been holding up well.

It's a great product and did what was expected, however, we misjudged the weight of the multiple cards cards and badges we wanted to use it for and it did not retract all the way. Definitely not a product issue! We will probably order a more heavy duty one when we know how many badges/IDs will actually have to be carried.

Pull it out. It goes right back in. Out and back in. It goes in and then when you need to use it it pulls out and back in. Each and every single time. Out then in.
