Key-Bak® Pro is the 1st manufacturer of Dropped Object Prevention tool tethers (better known as tool lanyards) to release an ANSI certified retractable tethering solution. Building on our existing ToolMate retractable tether platform, we’ve upgraded the units to have ANSI 121 compliant auto-locking carabiners and completed all mandated dynamic drop testing. Our ToolMate tool tethers are proven to have a 2:1 safety factor and prevent drops in extreme conditions (Temp: between -31F to +113F) and even when soaking wet.
People who use tools as part of their job know lengthy coil and static tethers get easily tangled, caught on ladders, scaffolding, temporary structures and equipment when used in real life.
