Like its big brother, the KEY-BAK® key reel, the MINI-BAK® ID badge holder/retractor helps maintain a safe and secure work environment. The MINI-BAK® ID badge holder/retractor holds an identification badge in place ready to be swiped while always being tethered to the user avoiding identification card misplacement that could happen with standard identification badge clips. The three strand Nylon cord used (the same cord used to stitch parachutes) in the MINI-BAK® ID extends out 36" (0.9 m) and maintains a gentle pull prompting the badge to be returned to its original position. But unlike lanyards worn around the neck the MINI-BAK® ID badge holder/retractor user doesn't have to take the lanyard off or stoop over in an uncomfortable position to swipe the identification badge through a card reader. MINI-BAK® ID badge holder/retractors also present the opportunity for custom imprinting to promote your brand, safety message or slogan.
Inside each MINI-BAK® ID badge holder/retractor is a precision clock spring that provides the retraction force for the badge reel. The spring, reel and three strand Nylon cord are designed to last for years of use. High quality materials are used throughout; from the spring steel used to manufacture the clip to hold the badge holder/retractor to the user's belt, shirt or blouse to the lustrous ABS case.
